7.5 hp (CATamount aerator) = approximately 5.625 kw
5.625 kw X 24 hours = 135 kilowatt-hours (kWh) per day

For every kWh of electricty used (assuming the electricity is derived from coal combustion), about 2.3 pounds of CO2 is produced.

If the CATamount aerator uses 135 kWh per day, then it produces:
about 310 pounds of CO2 per day, or
113,150 pounds (about 57 tons) of CO2 per year.
